Update: changing the layout and what am I posting?

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted something here, but I recently got a fulltime job which has been occupying my time and I’ve been in a major reading slump. I’ve read exactly 8 books since May. 8 BOOKS!!!!!!!!! That’s nothing. So needless to say, big slump.

But, I’ve decided to change things up. The first change is very noticeable: a new layout! I’ve gotten tired and bored of my old layout and I wanted something new. I can’t say yet if this layout is going to stay, there will be changes throughout the next few weeks, but when my layout is done to my liking, I’ll let you guys now.

Ultimate Baby Name Tag

It’s been a while since I’ve posted and now I come back with a post that isn’t even bookrelated.. I’m so sorry guys!!! I’ll try and start posting regurlarly again, but I saw this tag on Youtube and I really, really wanted to do it since I have such a love for names. Let me clarify that I’m not pregnant and I also do not plan on having kids, so this is purely because I love names so much. So I said f*** it, and now you can read my answers to all these name related questions. Don’t forget to tell me in the comments some of your favorite names/answers to these questions, I’d love to know!

Classics That I’ve Read and Loved

Classics seem to scare a lot of people and I can understand why. They can be hard to read, a lot are crazy philosophical, and more than a few are just plain boring. However, classics are classics for a reason, and it makes sense to give them a shot. There are some classics that I’ve read and absolutely couldn’t stand, no matter how many people tell me what great books they are, and there are some classics that I’ve read and they’ve become some of my favourite books, so here are some classics that I’ve read and absolutely adored.

My Next Ten Reads

I’ve been so busy with uni lately that I’ve barely found the time to read, and I honestly hate that so much. My to-be-read list, however, continues to grow and I thought I would create a shortlist of the ten books that I absolutely need to read next. Some of these are sequels in series that I loved but never finished, some have been sitting in the back of my mind for ages and most of them have been sitting, unread, on my bookshelf for months. I think it’s time to finally move them from my to-be-read to my read list.

Why I Still Love Twilight After All These Years

I recently bought the all the Twilight books in English plus The Short Second life of Bree Tanner. Up until that point I did not own them in English and had the Dutch books split between me and my sister, so basically, I only owned Twilight and Breaking Dawn, while she owned New Moon and Eclipse. Why did I decide to buy the Twilight box in English? I realized, I still really like this book series, and I needed them complete and in English on my shelves. A lot of people have been saying over the years that they dislike Twilight, and I get it’s probably because of the movies. I agree, the movies are pretty bad. But the books are not, not in my opinion anyway. So here are 6 reasons why I loved Twilight, still love Twilight and will always love reading Twilight.
