It's another 'reasons why to read' post! I'm on a reread of this trilogy and it's reminding me of all the reasons why I absolutely adore these books. And they're hella underrated, so I thought I'd put a few reasons together as to why you should pick up this series. Run to the library! Browse bookdepo, find yourself an epub! It's time to start Ruby Red.
I have just finished Lord of Shadows and I AM A MESS. A real goddamn mess. That book caused me so much joy and pain. Mostly pain. It was one hell of a ride and I loved every second of it. But I have trouble wording my feelings into a review, so I thought I'd do it a little different: 7 reasons why to read LoS are coming your way!
If you love contemporary, but aren't sure what to read right now: this guide might help you find a book you like! This guide is split up into multiple categories all focused on different kind of contemporary books. Per category I picked the books I thought fit best. In total you can find 20+ books in this guide, hopefully one of the books tickles your fancy. Let me know if you've read any of these, are picking one up, or if you have a book that suits one of the categories.
I love Morgan Matson's books, but Amy and Roger's Epic Detour will always be my favorite of hers, doesn't matter how many books she will publish. I fell absolutely in love with this book the first time I read it and I keep falling in love with it with every reread. Instead of doing a review, I am just going to give you a couple reasons why you should read this book, if you haven't already read it. Or reread it, in case you did read it
If you're like me, you might be guilty of the whole 'judge a book by it's cover' thing. Because I am. I so am. If I am looking for books on my own I will only read the blurbs of the books that have a nice cover. I won't pick up books with ugly covers anytime soon, unless they're recommended to me. But that's the thing: ugly covers can have amazing stories and pretty covers can have the worst. And we don't want to waste our time on bad stories, now do we? I didn't think so. So for today's post I created the 'Cover Lover's Guide.' All books with pretty covers and great stories. Because we do want our shelves to look beautiful.
It's time for another recommendation post! Usually I rec YA books, either contemporaries or fantasy, but for today I thought I'd go with some New Adult books, since I love reading those as well. And there are some really good ones out there, in comparison to a lot of other stuff that's released that's not so good. So for this post I'm sharing 5 New Adult books that I absolutely loved and adored and that you should definitely read.
As y'all know, I love contemporaries. They are probably my favorite genre to read. They're cute and fluffy and make me fangirl and they're always right there to help me out of a slump. And I have to say, I've read a lot of good contemporaries, so I thought I'd recommend a few of my favorites to you. These are all must-reads and definitely books you should add to your tbr. So without further ado, I recommend to you 5 contemporaries to must read.
It is finally summer, hallelujah! I already made a few posts with summer reads and books for at the beach, but what also gives me summery vibes are books about roadtrips or that have a roadtrip in them. So I thought I'd do some recommending today and share with you five of my favorite roadtrip books. Here we go!
Helloooooo booknerdfriends! I hope you're having a lovely day. I made a poll on Twitter the other day asking what kind of post y'all would rather read on my blog and the majority voted for recommendations. So that's what this post is about. I made a list of 10 standalone books that I absolutely adore. Because series are great and all, but I'm sure we can all appreciate a good standalone once in a while, am I right? Let's get to it!
It's time for something new: recommendations! I've been meaning to make a post like this for a while, but somehow I just didn't get to it. But today is today! For my first rec post I want to recommend 5 book trilogies that are perfect reads (or rereads) for the upcoming summer. So without a long introduction, let's get to it!
