I have just finished Lord of Shadows and I AM A MESS. A real goddamn mess. That book caused me so much joy and pain. Mostly pain. It was one hell of a ride and I loved every second of it. Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and The Bookish where we get a new topic each week for a top ten list. This week’s it’s Summer Reads Freebie. Everything or anything related to summer.

As readers, we don’t often stick to just reading. We write too. And one of the hardest things is coming up with a name for your characters, whether it’s the main character or that one extra that only has two lines: names are important. So I have created the Character Name Generator: if you really have no inspiration anymore (or are just too lazy to think of something) you can consult this generator. How handy is that?!
This generator is best suited for fantasy books. I have created a contemporary one in the past which you can find here. Don’t like any of the names that roll out of it? Don’t worry, there will be more of these generators in the future: you can always try again! Read more →
